These are easy to find by searching for Skinners Sheds voucher/discount codes and as a result a number of our customers are being misled into entering details to claim a voucher code, or being directed via these websites to our website with the claim of a percentage off products.

These websites are in no way affiliated with us, and therefore are using the Skinners Sheds brand without permission. We do not use third party websites to offer discounts or price promotions, and these advertised discount codes will not work. If we were to issue any voucher codes you will only find them in the following places:

  • Our email communications
  • Our social media channels

Fraudulent voucher code websites can mislead you into entering personal data by promising discounts that are not valid, or make money through the adverts being displayed on their web pages. COVID-19 Updates

UPDATED 18/6/2021:

We are pleased to announce that our new measures and procedures are now in place. This will allow us to carry out building installations with the highest regard to our staff and customer safety.

We have made many operational changes in the business to conquer the challenges we are all facing now and for the foreseeable future. We will be operating safely with PPE, social distancing and strict staff monitoring procedures in our factory, warehouse, installation teams and sales.

All our Show Sites are now open and operating safely in line with the garden centres. We would advise you to call our show sites before visiting to check on opening and closing hours as we are governed by the garden centres hours of business which is subject to change due this pandemic.

Two New Garden Rooms

Corner Garden Room with upgrades

We have just launched two new garden rooms to add to our Superior Garden Room range; the Snug Garden Room, and the Corner Garden Room.

Snug Garden rooms start at just £3,499, making them our cheapest garden room available. Whist they maybe the cheapest, they are still built to the same standard as our other garden rooms. All Snug Garden Rooms include a EPDM rubber roof, extra strong framework with diagonal bracing for extra strength and durability, fully insulated walls with 130mm thickness to keep the room cool in summer and warm in winter, fully insulated tongue and groove roof and floors, and a free electrics package including double sockets, lights and light switch. Connection to the main ring is not included but can be quoted for. This building is available with Grey, Oak or White PVC windows and doors.

Top Tips for a Top Shed!

Most seasoned gardeners will have completed their garden chores by this time of year and are enjoying the calm before the seasons change and it is time to spring in to action!

There is one place which often gets overlooked unless you are a “sheddie” and that is the garden shed. Often neglected, it is the loft of the garden and for some less of a garden haven and more of a dumping ground for garden tools and equipment.

So let’s take a look at our top tips!

  • Take stock of your sheds contents – we have all got gadgets and gizmos bought on a whim that we do not use. So have a de-clutter and only keep items that you will use this year. If you have not used it the chances are you will not miss it!
  • Do your garden tools use batteries? The cold UK weather can reduce the batteries ability to maintain its charge so make sure you fully charge the battery before storing tools over the winter.
  • Keeping your shed clutter free will also help keep your shed pest free so give the floor a good thorough clean and sweep. Pests will happily use anything stored incorrectly as nesting materials. Inspect corners, crevices, ceilings for urine or droppings – these are clear indicators of infestation so keeping your shed clean and tidy will help avoid an issue with unwanted visitors.
  • Let in the light! – cleaning windows will not only allow extra light to enter your shed but will help keep your shed warm.
  • Organisation is key! When it comes to your garden shed layout you need to think practically – perhaps storing your tools and garden equipment on shelves or hooks would make them easily accessible and keep your sheds floor space clear for larger items. You need to be able to navigate your sheds easily without risk of hurting yourself by tripping over cables and mowers! Adequate storage is a must if you wish to stay organised!
  • Treat your building annually.
    So the inside is sorted but the outside still needs a bit of winter maintenance- remember to treat your shed annually. With most wooden sheds the key to keeping the building in top condition is protecting against moisture penetration by sealing your windows and using a good quality water resistant treatment. Keep your roof in good order – inspect and repair any damaged felt as to avoid any leaks!
