Dear Deeday
Firstly I must apologise for not getting in touch sooner to say a very great thank you to you and your lads for helping us out again this year with the sheds. They really do make such a difference to the infrastructure of the site. I missed them leaving on Monday and we would like to give them all a t-shirt by way of thanks. How many of them came over to help? We will then get them over to you.
We are of course writing to say a huge THANK YOU for your continuing kind help and support towards this event, it helped enormously in making the concert weekend such a success despite the heavy rain on the Saturday. Thanks to the brilliant efforts of our collectors the collection was slightly up on last year and with the profits from the bar and stalls we have made a profit or just over £8,000 and are delighted to still be able to distribute the same amount to our charities as last year.
We would like to invite you to join us on Tuesday 13th September, 6.30pm for 7pm-9pm, upstairs at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association (opposite the lifeboat house) for drinks and nibbles when we will be presenting the donations to Hastings RNLI, Pett Level Inshore Rescue Boat and Hastings Sea Cadets.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Thank you.
